As a person usually cooking for one, this is good size board. I oiled it every day for about a week (actually about 4 or 5 days) and I have had no problems with it. It cleans and dries very easily.

I previously purchased these cutting boards in Alaska. I love them! They are beautiful, fine quality, dry fast, and do not leave any bad odors or mildews like other cheap bamboo cutting boards from Wal-Mart. Then I found the same kind of these cutting boards on Amazon and the price was unbeatable ($9). So I purchased for my aunt and she loves it as well. I was going to buy more for family and friends, but their price went up, so I might wait a little bit or buy @ Bedbath & Beyond with my coupon discount :) Anyway, get them, you won't be disappointed!

This cutting board is fairly thick, but not as large as I thought it would be.
My biggest problem with this board, having used it only a handful of times and having rinsed it off and set it carefully to dry, is that it developed a split in the wood, right down the middle. Of course, the two end pieces keep everything held together, but the crack down the center means that bacteria and other nasty things can get into the space, which limits the use of the board.
Due to the crack, I would not necessarily recommend this cutting board to others. But, my experience may not mirror the experience of others who have purchased this product.

I have this cutting board and I love it! It's the perfect size and it seems really well built. The handle makes it easy to store hanging up.
