Excellent while they lastedJan 10, 2011
By swc829 I bought these as a replacement after I lost my Skullcandy earbuds. For the price and the different colors, I thought, why not? They came in a nicely compact cylindrical package two days later. I was fairly impressed with the sound when I first put them on (comparable to the Skullcandy ones). I'm not audio expert; I just wanted a pair of earbud headphones that would stay in when I went out, worked out, etc. After a week, the glue in one of the earpieces broke (where the seam is in the middle of it), so I wasn't too happy. But whatever, I just superglued it back together and it worked fine for a couple months. Recently, though, the plastic casing near where you plug it in has broken, and although I tried to be careful, the wires just broke and the sound started cutting in and out after. Eventually, I just gave up, and I just ordered another pair of Skullcandy headphones (the last pair served me for 8 months without a problem before I lost them). Part of the problem with these headphones is the relative rigidity of the plastic casing; it's prone to cracking after a while, exposing the inner wires. Would I buy these again? Maybe. Would I recommend them? Depends on your usage. For light to medium usage (occasional listening), sure. But for heavy usage/working out/if you take your ipod everywhere? Go with something else.

They do the trickOct 15, 2010

I bought these primarily for freelance work as a transcriptionist and to use with my iPod. They do a great job of blocking out a lot of the noise from my two boys while I'm working. The volume has never adjusted correctly on my iPod with headphones so I love the volume control on these because the volume of the podcasts I listen to varies greatly. For the price I think they're great.

Good priceOct 25, 2010
By Angel For the price I paid for these ear buds, I expected it to lack quality. It seems to be of good build, I've also tried them and it seems they're good at what the title suggests(cancelling noise). Would def. buy again!

Only one earbud, lots of cushions.....Dec 27, 2010
By Katie Mac From the main picture, I thought this was seven earbuds, cheap but useful. It is actually ONE earbud with lots of cushions, colored and various sizes of black. But as it turns out, I LOVE it. The sound quality is good, and the noise blocking and volume control add to the experience. I listen to audio books on my MP3 to help me sleep, so I can adjust volume without lighting up the MP3. I'm usually a cheapo because the dog chews them, but I'll guard these carefully... a great purchase after all.

Best I've found for the price!Dec 31, 2010

There are lots of earbuds out there, but for my purposes (to listen to the TV while on the treadmill), these are perfect. I especially like the convenience of the volume/mute control right on the cord (placed perfectly for ease of reach/use). And they are REALLY comfortable! Finally, they do a darn good job of ambient noise cancellation (again, particularly considering their price). I have now purchased 2 pair for myself (one for use on the treadmill, and the second for carrying around me to use with my IPad when I'm in busy/loud environments). I also gave 3 pairs as gifts this Christmas (again - low price helped there as well) for my friends who listen to their Ipods while working out. They were all very pleased as well.
