This is not only an eye catching case but also very durable and practical. Only criticism: it is easy to get the 'watermark' or dust under the screen protector but that is a small price to pay for the protection. I also do miss access to the mute button but can work around it using settings.

This box is attractive, functional and very protective for your iphone. It's true, the original iPhone design doesn't have an opening to switch your ringer off, though the 3G box does. That's OK, you can turn the ringer volume down easily with the other buttons. Easy to insert headphones or charger without removing it from the box. Your iphone is a big investment, so protect it with the best case you can buy. My friend's iphone got run over by a truck (she left it on the hood) and she did NOT have a case like this. There's no guarantee, but I'd rather have this box than nothing if its gonna get run over!

this cover is sold for the 2g but does not fit the 2g at all. its built for the 3g and sold for both 2 and 3g even tho it does not fit and work with that phone.

Ottebox Defender Case for iPhone (Black,Yellow)
This crappy product comes in a yellow and black box with a cute little otter on it. The problem is the brand is OTTEBOX...no R. This is a knock off that not only does not fit but does not have all of the connection points accessible (including sound off/on)without taking the case off. Shame on Amazon for selling this. Returned for REAL Otterbox case.

I ordered this for the original, 1st generation Iphone. What I got was for the 4. I ordered New and Got Used. It also looks like a Knock Off at that. The screen protector was ripped out of it when I got it so they sent an extra one for me to put on myself. It was all gooey on the inside of the case from where the 1st screen protector had been ripped out so then dirt would stick to it really bad. Product Features said ° includes soft arm band that I Did Not get. I Was going to return it so I sent an e-mail to them so I could get a return label being that was not what I ordered. I did not get a return label in the e-mail and my daughter ask to keep it because she like that it was yellow and black and had no screen protector built into it. But when all the dirt and grime got stuck to the inside of the case because of the gooey left behind from the screen protector being ripped off she to hated it. Hope this helped you as this is the 1st review I have written.
