I have had this mousepad for a year, maybe two. It works just fine with my optical mouse (an Edge by Zboard). I have never had any trouble with it at all. I give it a 4 because there are some mouse pads that are fancier, but as far as utility goes I would give it 5 stars.

We bought this pad and opened it up. The grips on the back are excellent and kept the pad in place. Sadly, our mouse wouldn't track on the pad at all. It would work on the bare desk but not on the pad. We will have to return it and try another.
