We ordered the knifes in the middle of November. Used them and loved them.
..until the middle of January. The middle sized knife fell apart. The glue holding the blade in the handle completely lost all holding power. Now the middle sized knife is completely useless. Processing the return as I type this.
This was a great purchase .. for the whole 2 months they lasted.
If it had lasted I would give it 5 stars. I would expect a $100 set of 3 knifes to last quite a while, if not a lifetime. We loved the ceramic knifes and will buy another set of them, but from a different manufacturer.
Note: Knife was not abused or even dropped once. Hand washed after each and every use. I am talking strictly normal daily use. Very disappointing.
FYI: The knife tang is less than 1 inch long.

Received these as an anniversary gift (for which I gave my wife a penny to "buy" them as getting knives as a gift brings bad luck according to my mother).
My initial reaction was less than ecstatic since we already have plenty of knives, but when I started slicing and dicing... Onions, tomatoes, chicken... EFFORTLESSLY... It was awesome. And better yet, two months later I am getting the same result without ever having sharpened them.
Hard to believe until I saw a show about how these knives are made from powdered zirconium... Yes, like the fake diamonds.
They are really hard but you have to hand wash them. A small price to pay for awesome cutting edges that don't require sharpening. Had them two months now and hope to get years more of cutting pleasure out of them. Now my favorites along with my santoku Japanese chef's knife and my old heavy Chinese cleaver for whole chickens.
Maybe one niggle is that the longest blade is still a bit short for slicing large cuts of meat like flank steak. Otherwise, awesome.

The Keuken Ceramic Knife set, holder and box make a very impressive presentation. As this was purchased to give as a gift, I can not rate the quality of the knives themselves.
