 Furry and lovable, but good as a pad?Oct 26, 2010

I bought this pad after looking through fourty or fifty alternatives at fry's electronics. Most pads are your basic foam with the soft cloth on top, but I wanted something a little hardier, since the cloth on my last 3 mouse pads eventually began to separate from the foam and curl up where my wrist tends to touch after a year or so of use.
This one caught my eye firstly because I was not really interested in some kind of cute image or a strange shape. This mouse pad is slightly smaller than the other mouse pads, and has a nice tan color. It came with a small circle on the packaging so you could get a feel of the surface of the pad, and it felt quite luxurious and smooth. Most importantly it had stitching around the edges, which seemed like it would prevent the curling of the fabric for quite a bit longer than a normal mouse pad.
The pad is quite nice, and has held up great so far. my only complaint is that the micro-fiber cloth tends to make moving the mouse take slightly more effort than my previous, cheaper mouse pad. This is both a plus and minus for me, because it makes it easier to do subtle movements, so it makes increasing your mouse's sensitivity much easier. Sometimes though I yearn a bit for the slick sliding movement of my previous mouse pad.

I like the look of this mousepad on my newly organized zen desk. However, it drags a tiny bit, so if you are looking for a bit more precision, you might prefer a tight foam pad instead.

This is a really great mouse pad, I bought this at Microcenter along with an iHome laser mouse. Feels great, and works well with my laser mouse. I haven't had the mouse jump across the screen like it does sometimes on other surfaces, so it's great for gaming. I keep it pretty clean so not sure how well it can be cleaned.

This is definitely a four-star product, yet not a five because the surface is light and collects average human hand soil fairly easily over months of use.

Great Mouse Pad By Bahama Pad Co.. It micro fiber and is the best mouse pad I ever had. It's the best feeling and working pad. I bought two it was so good. I highly recomend using and buying this product.
