Adhesive on one side would be betterJul 12, 2007
By Guy Cobb These pads are sticky as they claim, however it's a toss-up as to whether it will stay on the item or the surface when you pick it up. I have tried these pads on a portable hard drive, cell phone, and iPod and each time they work well until they stay behind on the surface. Both sides are pretty equally sticky, so they stay behind on whatever surface they have the best grip on. They work pretty well at first, but over a day or two they tend to pull back off and stay behind on a surface.
Another issue is that the edges of the pads tend to curl up, which means that if you try to put them in a bag or pocket the edges of the pad will catch and it will be pulled off.
I wish one side of these was more of a true adhesive so that they would stay put.
Pleased With Gadget GripsOct 14, 2011
By Eric Product works as advertised. Nice to have multiple shapes/configurations. Could use a little more bulk.
I would recommend the Grips to all.
DisappointingAug 22, 2011
By R. Rhyne My initial excitement waned when, after a disappointingly short time, the grip pads began to curl up on the edges to a point of distraction and unusability. My reach out for any tips or help has gone unheeded by the company. In my opinion, being ignored was probably just as dismaying as the product failure itself.
It was a waste of resources to purchase and have the product go sour so quickly.
I cannot recommend.
Great little productAug 13, 2009
By John The gadget grip worked really well for what I needed. I don't place my phone on my car dash, just down by the cupholder and the grip worked great there. I used it for quite some time on my old phone, but when I recently upgraded my phone to a newer version, I preferred not to have it stuck to the back of my newer, cooler, phone. Other than that, the product worked great.
Didn't work!Feb 04, 2009
By Sara Ouro I bought this product for my cell phone and possibly my GPS. When I applied the grip, they both slid off the dash like there was nothing on it. A waste of money.
