-Calories
-Salt
-Protein
-Fat
-Carbs
-Cholesterol
-Fiber
that make up my diet. I can place different food items (individually) on the scale and it will tell me how much cholesterol is in the item based on weight and the three-digit number for the food found in the instruction manual. I love it!
I was surprised to see that I could weight candy bars, breakfast cereals, hamburgers and all sorts of meats, vegetables, ice creams, etc. and find out the nutritional content.
The scale has the option to "remember" what I've weighed so I can track my total nutritional intake.
I'm also going to use the scale to weigh things I send through the mail because the scale displays pounds, ounces and grams.
The scale seems pretty sensitive. I put a single piece of paper on the scale and it registered .1 ounces.
One feature I really like is that I can place an empty bowl on the scale, turn the scale on, and it reads at zero weight. I can then pour ingredients that I want to measure in the bowl and the scale then displays the weight for the ingredients only which means I don't have to manually subtract the weight of the bowl.

"Accidental Tourist"
If you eat stuff not listed in the code book, you are out of luck. There is no way to create a custom code and there is no listing that I could find anywhere on the Internet where you could get additional codes. Some very common items, like Ranch Dressing, is not listed in the code book.

EDIT 6/9/10: My scale previously stopped working. Even after replacing the batteries, it would not turn on. Miraculously, it came back on. Sometimes, it would still act up but I use this scale daily and did not want to wait for a replacement if it would still work. However, this week it has stopped working again. I wanted to give it a few days in hopes that it would turn on like the first time, but no such luck. I would have knocked this down to 3 stars, but customer service was helpful (spoke with them during the first incident, awaiting second incident response) so I gave it 4/5 starts.
I absolutely love this scale. It is great for anyone who is on a diet or trying to watch portion sizes. I like that some items are pre-programmed in the scale. This is especially helpful for fresh fruits and vegetables. Although, I will admit looking through the book is a little tedious, but I just went through and highlighted all the items I eat regularly. I have used this scale every day since I got it and have not had any problems so far. I have not even had to replace the batteries yet! I definitely recommend this scale.

I was really excited to try this scale out. I was a litle disappointed in how difficult it is to use. There is a manual but it is hard to find the foods you want. They are not categorized very well. However, when I did find the foods I was weighing it was very helpful. It just takes time to get used to everything. It is cool that is weighs in different measuremnts (ie, grams, oz, kilo, etc...) I am going to give it some more time and continue to get familiar with it.

This scale is pre-programmed with the stats on numerous food items. I love that I can easily track my calories, fats, carbs, etc., even on items like an apple. Once you learn how to use it and get the hang of weighing in your food, it's pretty handy.
