Awesome Disc StorageDec 20, 2008
By Kimberly A. Prock Awesome Disc Holders. These are the coolest products ever. I originally found some at a junk store that had wood like feature to the outside. Bought 3 but store went out of biz. Came home typed discgear into Amazon and **Voila** Amazon Roxxs as usual. Purchased 5 in one day. 40, 50, 80, 100 discgear holders are available. This pretty one in blue is 80. I am an extremely organized person and dislike discs sitting around in stacks or standing, where I have to sort. You can go online and set up your discgear spreadsheet that allows for numbering and disc numbering for easy and simple organization. Pop em in and push selector over to pull out the right one you need. Organize in 10 min or less. I have music cd's, movie dvd's, picture cd's to organize.

Nice productOct 24, 2008
By Xtal Grabs exactly the disc you've chosen. Takes up so much less space than having all of those discs in cases. GREAT for CDs you've put your photos on!

Best Disc Storage Ever....so farFeb 10, 2010
By D. E. Brumley These disc storage units have been the easiest and most convenient units that I've found so far. I've used other types of disc storage, but these are my favorites.
You can find them for a decent price on Amazon; usually a Marketplace vendor will have them in the $12-$15 range; shipping can be a little steep though, so watch out for that.
You can easily keep an inventory of what is stored in each unit on provided index sheets that store on a slide-out drawer built into each unit.
You can also store your disc information on line at the Discgear website, which makes it easy to check your catalog for the location of any disc from any computer. This database can hold all your Discgear units.
Each unit holds 80 discs. You can't put anything else in with the disc, so the online database is handy for making notes and comments. You can also store this locally on your computer's hard drive.
They come in assorted colors, and other styles, but I am most familiar with the cylindrical style of this particular model. It meets my needs, and is cheaper than the other styles.
A disc can be inserted or removed from the unit without touching the disk surface.
The unit also comes with marking pens especially for labeling each disk. These pens are specifically for this purpose, and will not damage the disc.
All in all, a well thought out and designed product.
